How to get an inverter backup system

Getting an inverter backup system for your home or office is not a difficult process.

1. A fairly accurate estimate of your energy need must be made. This alone determines the capacity of the inverter that will be required.

2. You must state the number of hours required for the back. This determines the number of batteries that will be required in the backup project. The closest match to typical number of batteries that inverters support will be selected.

For example, if your calculation comes to 5 batteries you will have to choose between a 48VDC (4 nos battery) inverter or a 36VDC (3 nos battery) system with the number of batteries doubled.

3. Once the capacity of the inverter is known along with the battery bank the only important task is the load separation that must be done to ensure that the inverter will only power loads and appliances that it is designed to power to avoid damage.

Transportation and installation costs would also complete the process.
